It's Over! Down goes 200!

As you may know I have been doing some frequent bowling out here. Almost every Friday me and my friends head off to the Sakura Bowling Alley on Jiangning Lu for some beers and 10 pin before heading out the bars. Strikes and gutters, man. When I first moved here, I was like most beginners, just trying to break 100. Then I got better, and breaking 100 wasn't an issue, I was conisistently getting 140's -150's maybe a 170 here and there. My real quest at that point was 200. Over the course of the year that I have been bowling I had yet to hit that 200 mark. I have been with 2 people (of my skill level) that I had witnessed break 200. The closest I came was 197 about 4 weeks ago. The frustration was getting to me. Each week, we'd joke about breaking 200. Each week, I was dissapointed..until this last Friday night!

That's right Mother F'ers. 245! Not only did I break 200, I fucking shattered it! The ongoing joke with my buddy Jono was that one day our names would be on the High Score boards above the lanes.

Well...Mine is! They stopped play, and took down the High Score Board.

They Officially wrote my SCORE OF 245!

And then let me sign my name. And since there is another Dude here with my same name, obviously I signed it SIDE. What else? So if you ever go bowling in Shanghai, check out lane 22. It's got my name on it, bitch!

Club Snatch Update

Sorry it took me a week to update y'all. I'm sure you have been on RP F5-ing every ten minutes until you saw my comments. Thanks for the support. To make a short story short. Yes, Iron Mike did show up. Yes, I saw him. No, he didn't buy me a shot (or me buy him one). Yes, he is freaking scary.

A couple of comments/things about Club Snatch. First, it's inside a mall. Having to walk in between a PizzaHut and a McDonald's kind of kills any "cool" factor you may be trying to capture. Also, if your bar is on the 3rd floor, try and make sure the f*cking escalators work. There's nothing like having to walk up two flights of stairs to make your entrance.

As I said, I did see Mike. As we were waiting in front (since the morons at the door, couldn't figure out where our table was) we were able to catch Mike when he decides to make his "entrance". He walks down this thin aisle, right by us. He is literally, 12 inches from me. He slows down a little, as we are the first guests he "meets", looks at me right in the eyes (a little pee came out). I gave the obligatory "What's up Mike" head nod and say, " Good to see you, Mike" (in a trembling little girl voice, that probably cracked). As he passes, he looks to my left and sees Michelle. He stops, turns to her (swear to god) and does this little bow and says, "Hello...NiHao" and then walks past the front entrance, through some door on the side, never to be seen by us for the rest of the night. It was both awesome and very very frightening. He is a freak, and everything is really intense around him.

Most of the crew that went with me to Beijing, also went to Club Snatch. Why I say this is because all of us had the same feeling. It was just like The Mix in Beijing. Our table was upstairs, above the dancefloor, where we had a wing to ourselves. We watche dthe club from a tinted window all night. None of us really liked the place. It was just like the Mix except for the GoGo dancers.

The one thing I will say about Snatch, was that they had the most AMAZING pole dancer ever. There were two GoGo boxes on each side of the dance floor. Then, above the stage, about 30 feet above, there is a fake Aquarium with three GoGo dancers inside (that looks like they are underwater). On the right of the DJ Stage about 10 feet above, there is a stripper pole. The pole goes all the way to the ceiling (roughly 35 feet high, so a 25 feet of pole). The pole dancer was...just...incredible. This is no, Cheetah's at 3 pm on a Thursday Pole Dancer, no. She would shimmy up like 20 feet, then hold her body out perpendicular, like an acrobat. Then, climb down the pole upside-down, doing the splits (showing her "club-snatch" to everyone). Then, when she got to the ground, she would "pole-fuck" the pole for a while, and then do some crazy pole swing/spin with just her legs holding on, and then climb back up, 25 feet high. It was simply amazing. So much so, that the whole club stopped, and watched her. All the dudes, everyone on the dance floor, all the chicks, everyone. Not only that, but she was smoking hot (from 40 yards away) and had the most incredible legs ever. I'll probably never go back there again, but if I did, it would only be to see her dance. She left the stage to a standing ovation (I couldn't stand all the way, since I was a little aroused).

Have a good weekend, everyone.
